9 Months Old

We took Gal for her 9 month Doctor appointment and the Doc says she is doing great. Gal has figured out the whole Doctor visit thing. As soon as the nurse came in to take her weight, she began to cry. When she left, she settled down. As soon as the doctor came in, she began to cry. Once he left, she was fine. Then the nurse came back in to give her the shot, she began to cry. Then once she left, she settled down. Smart little thing, she knew that shot was eventually coming.
18 lbs 10 oz - 55th percentile
26 inches long - 60th percentile

• Gal is eating some big people food such as chicken (bites of chicken from strips), speghetti, bread, cheese, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, vanilla wafers, etc. She loves to eat!!!


• 4 teeth - 2 upper and 2 lower - with more on the way


• Plays by herself on the floor with all of her toys. Some of her favorites are her plastic keys, stuffed Lamb from the Easter Bunny, Raggedy Andy, her toothbrush with little bumps, books, plastic blocks.


• She still uses the paci and her lovee to go to bed. She covers her face and snuggles with her lovee. She has began to sleep some on her stomach some again.
  


• After we put her to bed every night, Greg and I go to 'check' on multiple times before we go to bed. Most of the time, we will get her out of the bed just to hold her (she does not wake up). We can't stand it, she is just so darn cute!


• Not crawling yet. It will be soon we think. She loves standing and walking with assistance.


• She won't let anyone hold/touch her hands. Apparantly, I was the same way.
